CCI Mechanical rang in the summer season with an epic service project for Salt Lake County Youth Services last month.
By reaching out into the community, CCI Mechanical was able to align themselves with other generous corporations to provide a much needed restoration to the pergola on the south side of The Christmas Box House building. The generous companies who hopped right on board with CCI Mechanical are the following:
Burton Lumber donated all the wood that needed replacing.
Daniels Painting Inc. donated all the paint used on the project, as well as 4 painters with their own supplies.
H&E Equipment Services donated scissor lifts to facilitate the prep and painting work.
Industrial Supply Company donated tape, tarp, paint brushes and many other supplies necessary for the completion of the project.
CCI Mechanical employees and family members put all these donations to good use showing up at 7 am and spending 8 precious weekend hours working on behalf of all the children, youth, and families we serve here at Salt Lake County Youth Services.
Keeping our grounds and buildings in A+ condition helps us to establish credibility with the community members seeking our services. It helps the children and youth in shelter with us establish a sense of safety and trust that they will be well cared for, and provides a visual cue that they are in capable, able, and caring hands.
We are so grateful to CCI Mechanical for taking on the giant job of bringing our pergola up to speed, and to the upstanding corporations who willingly aided CCI Mechanical in accomplishing that goal. Thank you.
