Lake Ridge Elementary Afterschool Program received a Halloween surprise from the  Unified Police Department Gang Prevention Task Force. Students and staff went all out with costumes, arts and crafts, and ended the day participating in a gang free pledge.

Task force members spent all night preparing trick-or-treat gift bags filled with healthy snacks and students were encouraged to be mindful about the effects of gangs and drug activities and how to have a safe Halloween weekend.
